By winning the gold medal in the women’s T20 400-meter event at the World Para Athletics Championship 2024, para-athlete Deepti Jeevanji registered her name in history.
Deepti Jeevanji has created a new record in the 400-meter category in T20 by clocking 55.06 seconds at the Para Athletic World Championships 2024 in Kobe, Japan, breaking American Breanna Clark’s record of 55.12 seconds.

Monday 20 May 2024 Deepti Jeevanji registered her name in history by giving a brilliant performance in the World Para Athletics Championship.
This win comes as Deepti Jeevanji has achieved a historic win at the World Para Athletics Championships 2024, which has made India proud as well as inspired para-athletes across the country. Tenacity and unwavering spirit have shown the true form of his sportsmanship and resilience.

Deepthi Jeevanji’s Early Life

Deepthi Jeevanji was born on 27 September 2003 in Kalleda village, Warangal district, Telangana. His parents Jeevanji Yadhagiri and Jeevanji Dhanalaxmi had half an acre of land for agricultural use and to earn more, they worked as daily wage laborers in other people’s fields.
Every school pet teacher spotted her in class 9 in Warangal district. Later she came under coach Ramesh, who had been the coach of the junior team.
